We’ve always lived pretty close to our means, sometimes a little over but within a budget and have always clipped coupons, did a lot of cooking, shopped for bargains, bought things at walmart if they were comparable and cheaper like personal care products, frozen food, electronics, etc – never had to have top of the line GPS because we were smart enough to realize the $150 one breaks and gets stolen as easily as the $600 model, drive a Hyundai even though we could have afforded a luxury car and took a lot of crap about it, live in a moderate house that has everything we need, but — now all of a sudden the news and shows are flooded with tips on how to save money and it seems like common sense to me. Duh – Starbucks a treat like DairyQueen, not a daily habit – I’m sorry for the sarcasm but I’m just thinking how stupid we are as a society and how easily we allow ourselves to get ****** into bigger better more, more more
